Más buenas noticias para el mundillo de PHP, he recibido un email de Zend anunciando la disponibilidad de la versión beta del nuevo Zend Studio Neon. A diferencia de las anteriores versiones, que era un IDE desarrollado con Java (muchos usuarios se quejaban de su lentitud/consumo de memoria), Neon está basado en Eclipse (PDT). Visualmente es más agradable y han adaptado la vista para que sea similar a los anteriores Zend Studio. También han adaptado todas las funcionalidades que traÃa de las anteriores versiones, a continuación la lista con las caracterÃstcas que incluye Neon:

Como se puede ver, se trata de un IDE profesional muy completo y evolucionado del plugin PDT, pudÃendolo extender con otros plugins, como Aptana, para conseguir casi casi el IDE perfecto. Ahora bien, no será gratuito por lo que la opción económica seguirá siendo usar PDT y la profesional de pago Neon.
